Achievements

Just thought I'd let all of my valued readers, which I'm sure I have so few of, I mean many of, know of a few things that I've accomplished lately. Well, I lettered in Cross Country, and this is my first year, in fact, this is the first time I've been involved in a sport. I also got nominated to have two of my poems published in books. One is going to be a normal poetry book while the other is a book of the best poets of 2005. I'm really starting to try and better my poetry and I think it is starting to show now with these nominations. Thank you all for reading, and have a nice day.

Home at Last

I'm finnally home. Yes, it's over. I liked it, but there were a few things that I didn't enjoy about the staff. Althogh, that is what happens when you spend so much time with people; you notice everything that they do wrong or differently from you. I'm not sure, but I think that I may go back next year. If so, it will probably be for the few scouts that I got to know and want to see again and help them further themselves in scouting. Well I hope you all had a good summer, but mine is going to end in two weeks, so I didn't get much of a summer, just work. I loved being out there, so I really can't complain much.

Summer Camp...camp...camp

I'm leaving to work at camp soon, and I'll be there all summer, so, this will be my last post in almost three months!

I'd like to leave you all with some words of wisdom, but first I have to think of some.

Here they are.

Do not worry about what others think of you, you are what you want to be, not what they think you are.

No one can bring you down unless you allow them to.

You should always try to treat others politely, eventually you may get to them and they will stop thinking of you in the wrong light. If that does not work, just avoid the people whom you do not like in order to keep from doing wrongs against them.

Life is fast and can end at any moment, make sure you live life to the fullest, and be careful.

Quick Thoughts

Change can come across you quickly. You should always be expecting what you are not ready for.

Life can be complicating, and at times it can feel like there is no point in going on, but there is always a reason to live, all you have to do is look a little deeper and find that reason.

Understanding life can be the most difficult thing in your life, but there has been a plan laid out for you and your choices will alter your path through life.

Bad choices can make your life seem unbearable, but remember, the choice is yours. Do not lose your only opportunity.

Quick Thoughts

If you feel like you are fading from a friend, it's not always the best idea to try harder to get back to normal. Sometimes you just need to hold back and wait out the problem, that may be the only way to keep your friends. Doing this may also lead to losing some of them, but you gain so much more from the ones that stay with you.

Being alone doesn't always mean you are the only person there.

Life can hurt, but doesn't everything else?

Some things can be confusing, but figuring out the true meaning can bring about so much knowledge and can actually change your life.

If hate is just the absense of love, and love is an artificial construct of our minds, then which makes more sense?

Quick Thoughts

I am here alone thinking, and here is what I thought.

People are almost always alone when they don't want to be, because they repel others away in their bad moods.

Thinking about a problem too much can make it worse.

Also, people can mess up your day more than any thing that can happen to you during the day, that is unless you get seriously injured.

My final thought was that everyone should always have a person to talk to, and a back up just in case, because they are the ones you can call on when you are down or feel used. No one else will be there for you, no one else will notice, or if they notice, they will not care.

When I need someone most, no one is there, and here I am all alone, broken and scared. Why do I feel like nobody cares?
