Yey!!

Yep, I had another good weekend, and it's only Saturday.
I felt like I had to post, though, because I was behind Bekah, and that's pretty bad. So here's my post, don't wear it out.
Well, today started off with me dragging my butt out of bed(not something I normally have to do) and going off to scouts to clean the church for this service project thingy that we have to do for the merit badge we're working on. The room in specific that we cleaned is this little old and decrepit room with walls that are falling apart. When we entered the room this morning, it was a distugsting mess. It had two long shelves on the back wall and there were two wires above that holding up some long boards and the American flag, and in the back corner were three little shelves packed to the brim with canvas tents. After spending nearly five hours in that little room, I can confidently say that it now has six small shelves in the back, spreading from both sides of the room, all organized and semi neat. The floor is swept(because three to ten years of dust swept away can really make a difference), and we have found a new place to put all of the awards that the troop has earned over the years.
The transforation is colossal, going from the space to fit only one to two people to being able to fit a lot of people, such as close to ten, to look at all the awards. I myself cannot believe the cleaning efforts put in by the boys of troop 481 today to get not only that room, but a gigantic stove all cleaned in about six hours! I am happy to be with a troop that can get things done, and cannot wait for everyone else to see the changes we have made to that little old room back there.
