Down the Lane

So, if you can't tell, I've been rather busy lately, and honestly, I've had very little to talk about. My life has been really repedative lately, and I don't think you want to hear the same narrative over and over again.

If you cannot tell, I've had writer's block for quite some time now. Don't think that I haven't tried, because I I've started so many times that I cannot even count them all. I ripped far too many pages out of my notebook in the past month. As soon as I finish a poem, I'll post it all for my *cough* "valued readers" *cough*.

So, I've gotten like 10 hours of sleep this weekend, because I worked until 11:30 on Friday, and had to get up at five in the morning on Saturday for the pancake breakfast that my scout troop was holding. Who in their right mind is going to get up and come to a pancake breakfast at seven in the morning on a Saturday? Anyhow, once that was over, we had a surprise birthday party for my sister, Elizabeth, because she is turning 21 in a few days. And once that was over, Beth invited us to go bowling, so I went bowling, at midnight. We didn't get home until almost four in the morning, so, I had been up for twenty three hours. I got like six hours of sleep last night, and now I'm really tired, but I get to sleep in tomorrow until like two in the afternoon, so it's all good.

As I was saying, we went bowling last night. Christopher reserved two lanes for his group of friends, and one for me and my "small" group. Well, Corrine went bowling with us last night, and I invited Kevin because I was supposed to go out with him last night anyhow. We drove him to the bowling alley, but we had no way to get him home, because Beth was not going to drive us home last night. So, to get him home, Kevin called Brandon Filinger. Of course, Brandon called two of his friends, and it ended up that my one lane had more people on it then Christopher's two lanes combined. We had to pass Corrine over to them, and the man at the counter gave us one more lane, so we were able to bowl five games. I was actually doing fantastic, because I was trying to do what my father was teaching me the last time we went bowling. I was kicking everyone's butt, and Beth was mad because she was a worse bowler than I was. Every game, she thought she was going to beat me, but I somehow came out with a higher score every time.

Anyhow, that's life. We ended up playing around at like 2:30, and Brandon got our lanes shut down, but we had fun. Otherwise, my week has been pretty mundane. Thanksgiving was this week, and I ate a lot, but other then that I don't remember much. I hope everyone else ate a lot on Thanksgiving, and got fat, like I am getting. I have to stop eating pie, because I had three pieced this week.

Well, that's all I got.

Faster Than Fast, Quicker Than Quick

Welp, I'm going to try and say this all as quickly as possible.

I've been trying to get everything moved onto my web site. As of right now, most everything is working, and I think that I am going to correct the only mistage right after I post this. As you can tell, everything is being moved successfully.

I have recently been moved to work on Grill 1 at the Hot Dog Shoppe. This was a surprise to me, but it seems that I'm fast enough for Chuck, so, I must be fast. Chuck told me I did a great job today, but that I still needed a little trimming around the edges. Well, today was a Friday, of course I'm not going to do perfect if my first major time on Grill 1 is a Friday.

Otherwise, I'm good. I just finished Hell on Ice The Saga of the Jeanette, and the second book in the Dark Tower Series, The Drawing of the Three. I am currently working on a book called Crime and Punishment, and when I am finished with that I will be reading Grapes of Wrath for a school book report.

I suppose I cannot make a quick overview of anything, because I love details. Oh well...

Later,
